Our Priorities

The Church has one great commission from Jesus Christ. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28.18-20)

We have two priorities:

  • to hold out the message of Jesus Christ as the hope of the world. People need to hear the claims of Christ, and all of the church's activities centre on making Christianity clear for those who are investigating questions of faith.
  • to grow in our understanding of the Bible, so that we are equipped for lives which please Him. Week by week we explore God's Word in sermons and Bible studies.
'Gearing for Growth' is our Vision document, in which we highlight how we want to develop the church's ministry and people. A copy is available on the church premises.
